My family and I were crushed and deeply hurt to learn that the Steve LeVeille Broadcast was abruptly replaced by “Canned Compost”. I listened to the monkey business and clicked it off. I made another attempt to listen Tuesday, but it was like probing an open wound.
Steve is the best combination of those personalities that aired during the past forty years, e.g. Larry, Norm, Tom and Bob. Keep in mind, that is who we allow into our homes – personalities, not call letters.
In this post 9-11 period he certainly represents an immediate “local voice” with local information and local banter (about same) as we awake from a period of rest.
Please, bring back The Steve LeVeille Broadcast – sooner, rather than later.

Why do the listeners have to bear with what the station thinks we should listen to. Steve Leveille was like one of our family friends.I tried the new "canned "program" and could not stand listening to the inane chatter of eating monkeys, and putting TV personallities in office. I turned it off, and am now turning off WBZ radio. Bring back Steve and Pat.
Outraged at sudden loss of Steve LeVeille broadcast, replaced by some syndicated guy plucking news items off the internet. That's a real cop-out. Steve could have done that during slow caller response, but he didn't. Am registering my opinion with the program director (not that it will bring him back) and so should all of you. Good bye WBZ, you've lost another listener. Watch out Dan Rea, you're an endangered species...
I can't beleive what WBZ is doing. I leave for work at 330am mon-fri and listen to Steve every morning in my car for about 1 hr and 15 min. If I hear a strange voice or guest host I start turning the dial right away. Is management at your station that incompident?--and to leave all the loyal listeners in the dark -no explanation-no info about what happened-Well I will give management more info than they have given in the last couple of weeks-I started turning the dial and it must be broken-goes right past 1030am--even when the Bruins are on-Terrible management decisions --you should be ashamed of yourselves
Steve is a great local guy with local flavor... I listen on my way into work from 4000-0500 am daily...I especially enjoy the conversations about Maine....
Get him back on the air !!!
